The breakfast 50 children keep receiving. Since 2012 we have walked alongside Grace Orphanage in Uvira, a safe place for children who have grown up in the midst of war.
It all began with a prayer
The children at Grace Orphanage prayed every morning to “have breakfast on the table every day.” When Misión Kids learned of that need through a missionary, we decided to be part of the answer and began sending monthly support. More than twelve years later, that breakfast feeds 50 children every morning: a faithful partnership that also provides school supplies, extra food in the hardest moments, and a Christmas that reminds each child they have not been forgotten.

In DR Congo, Christmas is celebrated with a big community dinner where the whole orphanage family celebrates Jesus, shares a meal, and experiences a joy the world cannot take away.
