Grace Orphanage welcomes children orphaned by war and gives them what they need most: a home, food, and the embrace of Jesus.
Project description
In DR Congo we support Grace Orphanage, led by Hosea Msaba Mauridi — an orphanage for children whom war has left without family, in a region where violence does not stop and the numbers keep growing.
MK began more than 12 years ago by providing a daily breakfast for every child. Over time we have been able to expand our support to school supplies, extra food when intake rises because of the violence, and the Christmas Project.
In DR Congo, Christmas is celebrated with a big community dinner where the whole orphanage family celebrates Jesus, shares a meal, and experiences a joy the world cannot take away.
